Kundalini Belly Dance

Clark's Corner Café Photos!
I meant to share these way back in March! I'm so honored to be part of Kundalini Belly Dance Tribe. I dance with some beautiful and talented sisters!!! Kimberly wasn't able to be there that night so she's not in the photos...we'll get some of her soon!
Enjoy!

  2. Tracy,

Do you know whether "Tribal Fusion Belly Dance" is similar to Kundalini belly dance? The place where I take yoga teaches this other version, and I wondered whether you are familiar with it. (I need to do a little research.)

    Thank you.

  3. Hi Chris, what we do is considered Tribal Fusion...it means that we are not a strictly improvisational style (the original def. of tribal, see FatChanceBellyDance.com for more on that). We are inspired by and have learned from FCBD but also do choreographed dances, with a tribal feel. It's different than, say, Cabaret Style belly dance (see Shira.net for lots more on that!!!) Either style, or the many others out there, it's so fun!!!

  4. Thanks, Tracy. I just may take a class and try it out. I thought I wanted to be a ballerina when I was a child/young lady, though I've not danced since. This may just be something I pursue further. . . another way to FEEL.
